Jingle Bells Clarinet Variations

Here is a set of variations I composed on the theme of Jingle Bells. I wrote them with the style of Weber and Baermann in mind. They are a nice show piece in the spirit of the holidays, and consist of four different variations. The PDF of the Jingle Bells Variations for Clarinet sheet music is available for free, and you can hear the piece in the two videos below. The live performance was recorded on November 10, 2024. In the original video there is an image of the some of the sheet music as well as pictures taken from postcards from 1900 to 1915 (all public domain). Many of the pictures are by the great illustrator Ellen Clapsaddle (1865-1934), whose iconic images capture the holiday spirit.
